Mini Biography
Jessica Chobot serves as a full time on-camera host for IGN Entertainment. In just a short time with the company, it was clear that Jessica was not only a hit with IGN fans, but also a knock-out in-the-know about all-things video games.
Starting as a freelance contributer writing for IGN's Insider newsletter quickly expanded into in-studio and on-air web, television productions and event coverage including the highly successful The Daily Fix, IGN Strategize (IGN.com & Xbox Live), IGN GameBreaks for FOX Television and more.
An avid gamer, Jessica is looked to as more than just a pretty face for video games fans. During her time at IGN, Jessica's hosting duties have taken her to the far corners of the world offering video game tips and tricks on Microsoft's Xbox Live, teaming up with Steven Lisberger from Tron and Tron II on the upcoming script for SoulCode, representing J!NX's female clothing line, co-hosting the Jose Cuervo Games and filming her cameo in the upcoming movie, CROSS.
In addition to appearing locally and internationally as an integral part of the IGN video team, Jessica has contributed the written word to FHM UK, Mania.com, MAXIM print and online properties, and many other media outlets. As a notable and knowledgeable woman in the tech and gaming entertainment industry she has appeared as an industry expert for G4's Filter and Attack of the Show, ABC World News, EXTRA!, FOX News Live, CBS News and more; and she is regularly invited to make guest appearances on the SyFy Channel's Sci vs. Fi series and STARZ' Hollywood Goes Gaming. She also previously served as a weekly commentator on Sirius Maxim Radio's The Bower Show, as a game adviser on The Daily Habit and as a reporter for the Championship Gaming Invitational.
She became an overnight Internet sensation when a tongue-in-cheek modeling photo of her appeared online licking the Sony PSP. The photo has been widely parodied since, even appearing on Sony-branded advertising. Despite her quick rise to video game fame, Jessica's Midwestern charm, no-nonsense knowledge and passion about the world of video games has made her a favorite in the hearts of fans around the world (one determined fan from London investigated IGN's office location and flew clear across the pond - and the country - to meet her) and earned her a spot on AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women List.
